Customs and Duty. All shipments to the US/EU and rest of world destinations may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be covered by the customer. Ancient Shiloh is not responsible, nor has any control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
For orders outside Israel and the US, applicable duty and taxes may be imposed on your order that are not reflected in our prices. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay these fees to receive their shipment. Check with your local customs office for more information.
Some countries will not allow food items, cosmetics, jewelry, or certain other goods to clear customs and your order may be delayed or returned if an item of this type is included in your shipment.
We are not responsible for delivery delays due to severe weather, natural disasters, state of war or strikes, and some carriers may experience delays during the holiday season. We are also not responsible due to delays caused by customs and/or border control.
Return Policies
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
If there are any customs charges made to us for returned goods, the customer will assume full responsibility for these charges – proof of charge will be given to the customer. To help avoid these charges please state ‘Returning Goods’ clearly on the package being returned.
Shipping costs for exchanging goods will be charged to the customer.
Refund Period
Products must be returned BY REGISTERED MAIL ONLY. We offer free returns or exchanges within 21 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.
- Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
- If goods are damaged on arrival and you alert us within one week of receipt of goods, all monies will be fully refunded
Packages Not Collected
If a note is left by the postal service for a customer to collect a package sent from Ancient Shiloh (Physically or by electronic means – according to what is customary in the local postal service.) and the package is returned to us because it was not collected (typically after 2 weeks), we will charge shipping costs a second time for re-shipping the order.
If a package is returned to us because the customer filled in an incorrect shipping address, we will charge shipping costs a second time for re-shipping the order.
Post office charges for returning packages to us are the sole responsibility of the customer if he/she requires the package to be resent.
Please keep in mind that the products we display on our website may appear larger or smaller than the actual size. Likewise, as most of the items displayed are handmade, the item that you receive may vary slightly from the product in the picture. The coloring may appear different than actual product colors depending on your computer/mobile device screen.
If you’re not quite comfortable shopping online, or would prefer to make your purchase via telephone, write us an email and we contact you by telephone to obtain your credit card details. It should be clarified that even with delivery after a telephone order, the delivery and return policies will not change
