My name is Eti Ben Saadoun. I am a wife, a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 22. I earned my PhD in literature at Bar Ilan University and am a lecturer at Schechter Institute in Jerusalem and a literature teacher at the girls high school in Ofra.
I have been designing jewelry for 19 years, since the death of my father, o.b.m., who was a goldsmith. While he was alive, I barely took an interest in his artistry, but after his passing I felt a surge of inspiration, and I connect with his memory through designing jewelry. Although I use different materials than he did, the muse is the same.
God has blessed me with the ability to design and create in the Judaica art world. I gather biblical verses, prayers and blessings that strengthen and elevate the soul, and bestow them with love and appreciation on anyone who wears the jewelry on which they are inscribed.
