Hoshen diamond necklace

Gorgeous necklace inspired by the Hoshen (breastplate) worn by the High Priest at the Temple and at the Tabernacle in Shiloh. The chain is 14k yellow gold and the pendant is set with semi-precious stones, reminiscent of the Hoshen, whose 12 colored gemstones were each engraved with the name of one of the Twelve Tribes. Each stone and each tribe has special spiritual meaning and the combination of the stones and the tribes were a symbol of spiritual perfection. The special qualities attributed to each stone are shown in the table below.
