My name is Rachel Sorek. I am a wife and mother, jewelry designer and jewelry workshop leader.
For the past ten years I have been creating unique, handmade jewelry in my studio in Ofra, one piece at a time, from a variety of the best materials and with meticulous attention to high-quality finishing, using original designs that change and reinvent themselves from one season to the next.
I am a teacher by training, but am an artist in my soul.
Ever since I can remember, I have been creating things from any materials that came my way. When I fill my studio and home with silk cocoons, paints, fabrics, beads and gemstones, I look at myself and remember the little girl, Racheli, inventing artistic accessories from every type of material nearby.
To my delight, today Racheli’s playing has become my main occupation, which I do on the highest standards of quality and precision.
Above all, however, I create with love and enthusiasm and think of uniqueness, joy and beauty that my jewelry add to the life of whoever wears them.
Note: Rachel lost her son in a terror attack and since then her work also brings her comfort from this unbearable loss.
